OPTIONS EXPLANATION:

XLR+RCA, trigger

XLR+RCA..........this  means that there are two female input connectors on the rear panel of amplifer: XLR and RCA. There is a 2-way micro switch between them  to choose if you want to use XLR(balanced) or RCA(unbalanced) input.

Trigger........... this means that there is 2-way switch on the rear panel  close to 230V socket which select always on power supply or power on with trigger voltage of 12V from another source or preamplifier.

INPUT SENSITIVITY, trigger

INPUT SENSITIVITY........this  means that there are two input connectors on rear panel of amplifer: XLR and RCA. There is a 2-way micro switch between them  to choose whether you want to use XLR(balanced) or RCA(unbalanced) input. In addition, there is  a 10-way micro switch with 10 positions for max input voltage selection. With different positions of 10-way switch we change gain of Hypex amplifier input buffer. In this way, the input sensitivity circuit will have absolutely no influence on sound. Different brands of preamplifiers have different maximum output voltage. Preamplifiers with different maximum output  voltages: 2V, 3V, 4.0V, 4.2V, 4.5V, 4.8V, 5.0V, 5.2V, 6.0V, 7.8V, could be used.

Adjustment of maximum output voltage from preamp with maximum input voltage of amplifier is important to prevent next negative scenarios:

- in case higher maximum voltage from preamp compared to maximum input voltage of amplifier, clipping problem will appear in amplifier.

- in case of smaller preamp maximum output voltage compared to amplifier maximum input voltage, amplifier will not work in optimal power range, so higher THD+N and IMD will appear. THD+N and IMD are usually lower for higher power.

Trigger........... this means that there is 2-way switch on the rear panel  close to 230V socket which select always on power supply or power on with trigger voltage of 5-12V from another source or preamplifier.
